The 2015 Painkiller Cup will take place on January 17, 2015. It is a 12-16 mile team race for 3 paddlers (with at least one female) from Trellis Bay, Beef Island, Tortola to Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost van Dyke. The prize money is a whopping 10.000$. 3 Racers of a team share one Board (14′ and under) and need an escort boat for the switches.

The island community of St. John will be out again in force this year to support TRR’s 2014 Wounded Veterans USVI program fundraiser. In 2013 a total of 32 teams took part in what was the 2nd annual St. John Chaotic Kayak race on Oppenheimer Beach. 100% of the proceeds will be used to bring wounded veterans down island every November for one week of healing in the beautiful waters of St. John UPDATED: $38,640! were raised!
